Hospitalist Obstetrics Physician – Madison, WI

What You’ll Do:
- Cover the labor and delivery floor, triage, ER, and inpatient units during your shift
- Assist with cesarean deliveries and gynecological surgeries, including GYN emergencies
- Serve as the first contact for ER and floor consults and calls
- Support obstetric and gynecological emergency response and patient management
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including residents, medical students, CNMs, and RNs
- Provide high-quality, comprehensive care in a regional trauma and transfer center
- Respond to high-risk obstetric cases, preeclampsia, gestational diabetes, fetal anomalies, and postpartum care
What You Need:
- Valid medical license (IMLC accepted)
- Board certification or eligibility in OB/GYN
- Current BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications
- At least 1-3 years of obstetric experience preferred
- Strong skills in cesarean delivery, vaginal deliveries, ultrasound, and gynecological procedures
