What You'll Do
- Oversee all labor and deliveries at a regional trauma center with full OB/GYN privileges
- Manage approximately 3-5 deliveries per day and handle obstetric emergencies
- Conduct morning rounds on obstetric and gynecologic patients
- Perform cesarean sections and gynecologic surgeries from ED consults
- Provide GYN procedures including Pap smears, IUD insertions/removals, and ultrasounds
- Serve as the primary physician on all deliveries and labor management
- Collaborate with CNMs, OB/GYN residents, and other care team members
- Maintain high standards of care in a full-scope obstetrics and gynecology practice
What You Need
Required:
- Active, valid medical license; IMLC accepted
- Board Certification or Eligibility in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications
- 1+ years of obstetric experience (preferred 3+ years)
Preferred:
- Experience in high-risk obstetrics and gynecologic surgery
- Strong surgical skills and emergency management experience
