Are you an Obstetrics / Gynecology Hospitalist physician searching for your next locum tenens opportunity? This position with one of VISTA's healthcare partners in Wisconsin might be the perfect fit for you!Opportunity Highlights- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 10:00pm
- Job Setting: Hospital
- Clinical Volume:Â
- 3-5 deliveries per day
- Approximately 5 GYN emergencies per week
- Types of Cases:Â
- High-Risk Obstetrics
- Preeclampsia
- Gestational Diabetes
- Preterm Labor
- Fetal Anomalies
- Postpartum Care
- Abnormal Uterine Bleeding
- Family Planning/Contraceptive Counseling
- Procedures:
- C-Sections
- Vaginal Deliveries
- IUD Insertion/Removal
- Pap Smears
- UltrasoundÂ
- Role Responsibilities:
- Oversee all labor and perform deliveries
- Morning rounds on patients
- GYN surgery from ED consults during shift
- Primary on all cesareans during shift
- Support Team:
- FP residents
- OB/GYN residents
- Medical students
- Dedicated CNM on shift
- OB/GYN physician on call 24/7
- MFM available 24/7 (consultative)
- GYN Oncology available 24/7 (consultative)
Minimum Requirements- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics / Gynecology
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, DEA (required)
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years; 3+ years highly preferred
