What You’ll Do:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a busy medical/surgical and telemetry unit
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret dysrhythmias
- Access and manage ports, PICC lines, and central lines
- Administer blood products and medications using Alaris pumps
- Assist with diagnostic procedures such as chest tube management and ABG interpretation
- Manage complications from disease or treatment, including infection prevention and patient falls
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Float within units of similar or lower acuity as needed
What You Need:
Required:
- Ohio RN license
- BCLS certification
- Minimum 2 years RN experience
- EPIC EHR experience
- Ability to interpret dysrhythmias, manage lines, and administer IV medications
- Flexibility to float as needed
Preferred:
- Previous travel RN experience

This assignment is at a reputable healthcare facility in Columbus, Ohio, caring for oncology and general medical surgical patients. The unit emphasizes infection control, patient safety, and comprehensive care delivery, including cardiac monitoring, symptom management, and complex treatments. Shift scheduling is reviewed every four weeks, offering some flexibility based on staffing needs.
