What You’ll Do
- Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to adult and elderly patients in a busy surgical oncology unit
- Monitor and administer treatments including chemotherapy, blood transfusions, IV antibiotics, and insulin/heparin drips
- Respond to oncologic emergencies and manage cytokine release syndrome
- Follow infection prevention protocols and support patient fall prevention strategies
- Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic charting system
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
- Float within your scope of practice as needed to meet unit staffing requirements
What You Need
- Valid Ohio RN license and certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
- Minimum of 2 years in acute care nursing, with at least 1 year in PCU setting
- Strong clinical skills in oncology, surgical recovery, and acute patient management
- Ability to work night shifts and adapt to flexible scheduling
