What You’ll Do
- Provide high-quality nursing care to oncology patients with complex needs
- Monitor patient vitals and manage telemetric equipment (B450 monitors, GE telemetry system)
- Administer medications, including chemo, blood products, and IV therapies
- Manage invasive procedures such as chest tubes, PICC lines, and trach care
- Respond to emergency situations, including rapid response and code blue events
- Ensure infection prevention protocols and patient safety standards are met
- Document patient assessments, treatments, and responses accurately
What You Need
Required:
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- At least 2 years of acute care nursing experience, including 1 year in PCU or telemetry
- Certifications: BCLS, ACLS, NIH
Preferred:
- Oncology or chemo administration experience
- Experience managing dysrhythmias and invasive lines
- Previous travel nursing experience
