Registered Nurse – PCU – Columbus, OH

- Experience: Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience, with at least 1 year in PCU

What You’ll Do:
- Provide specialized care to adult and geriatric patients with acute leukemia and hematologic conditions
- Monitor and interpret telemetry data, including dysrhythmias
- Manage IV therapies, blood product administration, and line care (PICC, central, peripheral)
- Utilize infection prevention protocols and patient fall prevention strategies
- Respond to rapid response team calls and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Document patient care accurately in EPIC electronic charting system
- Engage in patient education and support for newly diagnosed leukemia patients
- Assist with feeding tube management and other complex vascular access procedures
What You Need:
- Valid Ohio nursing license
- At least 2 years of overall acute care nursing experience and 1 year in PCU
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS
- Key skills: Telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, IV therapy, blood draws, infection prevention
- Preferred: ONS Chemo Certification, NIHSS certification
