Outpatient Rehabilitation Greater Fall River, Massachusetts Area
Are you a Physical Therapist with experience treating lymphedema patients who is passionate about restoring function, improving quality of life, and providing compassionate patient-centered care? We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join a growing outpatient rehabilitation team serving the Greater Fall River, MA area.
In this role, you will evaluate and treat patients with lymphedema and a variety of musculoskeletal, orthopedic, and functional mobility conditions in a collaborative outpatient setting.
Position Highlights Outpatient rehabilitation setting Primarily daytime schedule Established patient population Collaborative multidisciplinary team Opportunity to grow and expand lymphedema services Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package Responsibilities Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans Assess and treat patients with lymphedema and related conditions Administer Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT) and other evidence-based treatment techniques Educate patients and caregivers on self-management strategies, compression garment use, and home exercise programs Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other rehabilitation professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program Current Massachusetts Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain Previous experience treating lymphedema patients required Lymphedema certification (CLT-LANA, CLT, or equivalent) strongly preferred Experience with outpatient orthopedic and rehabilitation populations preferred Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and patient education skills Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment About the Community
