What You’ll Do
- Screen, evaluate, and treat patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans following regulatory and clinical standards
- Use standardized assessments and evidence-based practices in therapy
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans accordingly
- Document treatment outcomes, discharge summaries, and all patient records in electronic systems
- Provide consultation to patients, families, and other healthcare providers
- Collaborate with team members regarding patient progress and treatment plans
- Attend required meetings, trainings, and conferences
- Obtain necessary supplies and equipment per clinical requirements
- Supervise and support CFY or student Speech-Language Pathologists
What You Need
- Current ASHA and State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience (preferred)
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills
- Ability to adhere to ASHA and state practice acts and ethical standards
