Electrophysiologist – No Call | High-Volume EP Practice

Floyd Lee Locums is seeking a Cardiac Electrophysiologist for an ongoing assignment in Texas. This opportunity offers a procedure-focused EP practice with no call and a diverse mix of electrophysiology cases.

Assignment Details

• Ongoing assignment while the facility recruits a permanent provider


• Mixed inpatient and outpatient setting


• No call


• Epic EMR


• High-volume electrophysiology practice


• Inpatient add-on cases may extend the scheduled workday


• Facility can potentially fast-track credentialing for an appropriately credentialed and approved provider

Clinical Responsibilities

• Perform AFib and other cardiac ablations


• Perform cardioversions


• Pacemaker and Bi-V device implantation


• Loop recorder insertion


• Left atrial appendage closure procedures


• Manage scheduled and inpatient add-on EP cases


• Provide appropriate inpatient and outpatient electrophysiology care

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in the appropriate specialty


• Board Eligible candidates must be within five years of completing training


• Active Texas medical license required


• Facility is not willing to license


• Active DEA


• Two years of case logs required


• Professional references required


• Comfortable with a high-volume procedural EP practice


• Ability to accommodate inpatient add-on cases when clinically necessary
