OB/GYN Physician – 24-Hour Call Coverage

Floyd Lee Locums is seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN Physician for ongoing coverage in Illinois. This opportunity offers consistent monthly call coverage with anticipated needs extending into 2027 and the option to add clinic coverage if desired.

Assignment Details

• Ongoing assignment with long-term coverage anticipated


• Approximately 7-10 shifts per month


• 24-hour hotel call, typically 8:00 AM-8:00 AM


• Optional opportunities to combine clinic and call coverage


• Hospital-based setting


• Cerner EMR


• Approximately 60-day credentialing timeframe

Clinical Responsibilities

• Labor and Delivery coverage


• OB unit coverage


• OB/GYN consultations through the Emergency Department


• Provide backup for emergencies and OB practice patients


• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and advanced practice providers


• No circumcisions required

Requirements

• Board Certified in OB/GYN


• Active Illinois medical license required


• DEA and Illinois CSR


• ACLS and BLS


• Minimum 1 year of experience


• IMLC candidates are not accepted
