OB/GYN Physician – Flexible Monthly Coverage

Floyd Lee Locums is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible OB/GYN Physician for ongoing coverage in New Mexico. This assignment offers a mix of clinic, elective OR, and call coverage with a flexible commitment of approximately 7-10 days per month.

Assignment Details

• Ongoing coverage


• Approximately 7-10 days per month


• Clinic hours Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM


• Primary call coverage during evenings and weekends


• Mix of clinic, elective OR, and call


• Approximately 20-25 clinic patients per shift


• 60-day credentialing timeframe


• New Mexico-licensed physicians preferred

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide routine and high-risk pregnancy management


• Fetal heart rate interpretation


• Routine and complicated deliveries, including C-sections and VBACs


• Repair 3rd- and 4th-degree lacerations


• Perform Level I/screening OB ultrasounds


• Provide open and laparoscopic gynecologic surgery


• Perform office-based gynecologic procedures as applicable

Support

Providers work alongside a collaborative clinical team that includes:

• Three APPs in clinic


• CNM support throughout the week


• Family Medicine physicians with OB training


• OB/GYN backup coverage during weekday daytime hours

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN


• ACLS


• BLS


• New Mexico license preferred


• Experience with obstetric deliveries and surgical gynecology
