Description

We are seeking a dedicated Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner for a 7-day assignment starting Sep 2, 2026, in Washington. Our client requires a professional to serve as the sole provider at the clinic, managing a diverse caseload of walk-in and scheduled urgent care patients. Responsibilities include performing various procedures and handling a variable daily patient volume, averaging around 20 patients per day during 10-hour shifts.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Serve as the sole provider at the clinic
  • Manage a variable patient load, averaging 20 patients per day
  • Handle typical urgent care cases, including walk-ins and scheduled appointments
  • Perform procedures such as sutures, IMDs, toenail removal, laceration repair, injections, and foreign body removal
  • Read x-rays


Additional Information

  • Required Board Certifications: Family Nurse Practitioner Certification (FNP), Urgent Care
  • EMR: Cerner
  • This is a single practitioner site
  • Patients per day: Average 20 patients per day, with variability from less than 10 to over 30
  • Shift hours: 10-hour shifts
