Position Overview
The Emergency Medicine Physician will provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting with a broad range of acute and critical conditions. The physician will work in a high-volume emergency department with 60,000+ annual visits, supported by experienced APPs and a dedicated nocturnist team.

The hospital is a Level II Trauma Center and one of only four Comprehensive Stroke Centers in Alabama, providing physicians with the opportunity to manage complex and medically challenging cases.

Guaranteed base salary starting at approximately $285/hour.

Qualifications
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
Completion of an accredited Emergency Medicine residency program.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine.
Current and unrestricted medical license, or eligibility for licensure, in Alabama.
Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
Comfortable managing high-acuity emergency and trauma patients.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative emergency medicine team.
