Momentum Healthcare Staffing (Momentum HCS) is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Primary Care Physician to join a well-established, hospital-employed practice in Dothan, Alabama. The practice is seeking a physician due to an upcoming retirement and will welcome candidates trained in either Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (without OB).
This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative primary care team with a predictable weekday schedule, a manageable patient volume, in-house laboratory and radiology services, and no travel between practice locations.

Team: 3 Primary Care Physicians and 3 Nurse Practitioners
Practice Location: Single location; no travel required
Patient Volume: Approximately 18–20 patients per day
EMR: Epic
In-House Services: Laboratory and radiology services
Schedule
Monday – Thursday: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Friday: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Compensation & Benefits
Guaranteed base salary during the first year, plus a productivity bonus.
Beginning in Year 2, compensation transitions to a productivity-based model.
$100,000 signing bonus.

Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive primary care services to adult patients.
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based clinical practices.
Provide preventive care, health screenings, and patient education.
Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic studies as appropriate.
Coordinate care with Nurse Practitioners, physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation using Epic EMR.
Establish long-term relationships with patients and their families.
Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining the highest professional standards.
Qualifications
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
Family Medicine candidates are not required to provide obstetrical services.
Eligible for an unrestricted Alabama medical license.
Current DEA registration or eligibility to obtain one.
Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
