What You’ll Do:
- Provide direct patient care, including IV therapy, under the supervision of a registered nurse
- Assist and supervise ancillary nursing staff with assigned duties
- Use the nursing process to assess, plan, and evaluate patient care needs
- Communicate professionally and effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Adapt to fast-paced environment changes and shift priorities as needed
- Maintain compliance with all regulations, standards, and safety protocols
- Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to patient safety guidelines
What You Need:
- Current LPN license in Louisiana
- Minimum 2 years of related experience in healthcare, with IV therapy credentials preferred
- Valid BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and judgment skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Physical ability to perform duties, including lifting and standing for extended periods
