Role Description:
This position will report directly to the Executive Director. Individuals in this role must have the ability to use a holistic treatment model that includes the ethical integration of evidence-based treatment modalities with theological truths. In alignment with the purpose of For the One Counseling, this role requires the capacity to work with people from a variety of worldviews and faith backgrounds that uphold the dignity of all people.

The Licensed Clinician will provide direct mental health services, including intake assessments, individual, family, and couples therapy, treatment planning, and ongoing progress evaluation. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining accurate clinical documentation, coordinating care with other providers when appropriate, and adhering to ethical and regulatory standards. The clinician will participate in case consultations, contribute to a collaborative team environment, and may assist with crisis intervention as needed. This is a full-time (32 hours a week), on-site role based in Reno, NV, requiring consistent presence at the clinic during scheduled hours. The position may also involve engaging in continuing education and supporting program development to enhance client services.

Clinical Responsibilities:
-Licensed Clinician: Current, unrestricted clinical license in Nevada (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LCPC, LCSW-I, LMFT-I, LPC-I, or equivalent) and eligibility to provide mental health services independently.
-Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related mental health field.
-Clinical Practice: Expectation to see 24 clients weekly.
-Clinical Standards: Ensure clinical practices that adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines.
Documentation and Record-Keeping: Ensure proper documentation, maintaining clinical records.
-Manage clinical outcomes via implementing and managing a measurement based care approach to treatment.
-Maintain continuing education supplemented by occasional CEU training provided by FTOC: continue to develop as a clinician and mental health professional, develop as a thought leader, maintain licensure.

Additional Responsibilities:
As time allows, responsibility for the following:
External marketing for the purpose of maintaining referral base (e.g., outreach emails, in person outreach, phone calls, introductions to leadership, etc.).

Participation in a minimum of 2 approved outreach events per year. The executive director determines qualifications of an outreach event to be approved for meeting the required outreach requirement.
Work Schedule

The position is a full time position occasionally requiring attending Sunday services at Grace Church or other events that require FTOC representation. Clinicians will typically be on-site at the outpatient counseling center 4 days per week. The specific days and hours can be negotiated based on the needs of the organization.

Work Environment:
This position will have access to an office space at our outpatient counseling center. The office can be reserved for the licensed clinicians use during their on-site work hours and is suitable for administrative tasks, small meetings, and one-on-one therapy. Please note that the office may be shared with other staff members on a rotating basis.

Required Qualifications:
-Exemplifies a mature Christian lifestyle and has a deep understanding of Scriptures and how to integrate a biblical worldview with practicing psychology.
Maintains a commonly accepted historic orthodox Christianity.
-At minimum, an intern license to practice as a mental health professional and supervision under a licensed practitioner.
-Extensive knowledge of clinical best practices, relevant laws and ethics.
-Exceptional communication, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
-Strong relationship building and networking capabilities.
Must possess moderate levels of technology skills to use modern EHR software and back office software applications such as Google Suite.
-Expertise in working with men and male specific concerns.

Preferred Qualifications:
-Licensed to practice independently as a mental health professional in Nevada (LCPC, LMFT, LCSW, Psy.D., Ph.D.).
