What You’ll Do
- Provide inpatient OB/GYN care in a busy hospital setting with approximately 10 labor and delivery rooms.
- Manage labor and delivery processes, including assisting with C-sections and managing high and low-risk pregnancies.
- Handle gynecology emergencies and assist with surgical procedures such as ovarian torsion and spontaneous abortions.
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals, including private physicians and surgical staff.
- Oversee patient care from antepartum through postpartum stages.
- Ensure compliance with all hospital and healthcare regulations.
What You Need
- Active California Medical License, DEA, ACLS, and BLS certifications
- Board Certified or truly Board Eligible in OB/GYN within 6 years of residency
- Minimum 1 year of OB/GYN clinical experience
- Ability to work flexible day/night shifts and handle high-acuity cases
About the Assignment
Join a leading facility in Los Angeles providing comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic inpatient services. This unit features ten labor and delivery rooms, eight antepartum rooms, and eighteen postpartum rooms, along with dedicated ORs for surgical procedures. The team offers unassigned OB patient coverage and supports management of high-risk pregnancies, providing an engaging environment for skilled OB/GYN physicians.
