What You’ll Do
- Provide general cardiology coverage at a busy Cardiovascular Institute
- Support in-house staff including medical assistants, nurses, PA support
- Manage 18-24 patients daily, primarily for outpatient care
- Perform cardiac catheterizations for your own patients
- Document encounters in Cerner EMR
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team focused on patient-centered care
- Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and safety standards
- Support ongoing coverage needs with flexibility for weekends and overtime
What You Need
Required:
- Board Certification in Cardiology
- Arizona Medical License or IMLC LOQ
- ACLS and BLS certifications
- At least 2 years of cardiology practice experience
Preferred:
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to relate well with staff and patients
