  JOB REQUIREMENTS
  

  

    
• Board: Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine

    
• Licenses: Active unrestricted Virginia Medical License, Active DEA with Virginia address

    
• DEA / CDS: Active DEA required

    
• Certifications: ACLS required

    
• Experience: Minimum two years of current clinical experience; completion of Internal Medicine or Family Medicine residency

    
• Other Qualifications: Documentation of case logs, proof of CME, current flu vaccine, comfortable performing privileges requested

  

  DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  

  

    
• Provide hospitalist coverage on day shift (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM), including management of inpatient census

    
• Manage open ICU patients, including ventilator management and critical care

    
• Respond to rapid responses and codes throughout the facility

    
• Perform procedures including intubations and central line placement as needed

    
• Supervise and collaborate with NP/PA on day shift and provide on-call coverage for night shift NP/PA
