We are seeking a Physician Assistant - Surgery - Cardiovascular & Thoracic for a 120-day assignment in Illinois, starting Nov 2, 2026. This role involves an M-Th or Tu-Fri schedule from 6 AM to 6 PM, with potential rotating call one week per month. Responsibilities include OR first assist, vein harvesting, ICU, OR & Step Down coverage, and inpatient rounding duties for our client.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform OR first assist duties
• Conduct vein harvesting and EVH endoscopic vessel harvesting
• Provide coverage for ICU, OR, and Step Down units
• Manage rounding and other inpatient duties

Additional Information

• Required Board Certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery
• EMR: Epic
• Call schedule: Potentially one week per month of rotating call
• Inpatient setting
• Radial Artery Harvest experience is beneficial, though not required
