What You’ll Do
- Monitor vital signs and patient consciousness continuously during recovery from anesthesia
- Manage airway patency and respiratory function, intervening as needed
- Administer medications for pain, nausea, and hydration to ensure patient comfort
- Assess surgical sites for bleeding or complications and perform physical evaluations
- Recognize adverse reactions and initiate emergency procedures promptly
- Maintain accurate patient records and communicate effectively with healthcare team members
What You Need
- Valid RN license in Michigan
- Prior PACU or similar acute care experience preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
