What You’ll Do:
- Provide specialized nursing care to surgical patients in the operating room
- Assist surgeons and surgical team during procedures, ensuring all protocols are followed
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergent needs during surgeries
- Prepare ORs and surgical equipment for scheduled procedures
- Ensure compliance with safety and infection control standards
- Document patient care activities accurately and promptly
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
What You Need:
- Current RN license in Michigan or the ability to obtain one quickly
- At least 1 year of OR nursing experience preferred
- Strong clinical assessment skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to adhere to strict attendance policies (note: a 3-strike policy effective starting 06/01/2024)
- Willingness to comply with facility policies and safety standards
