What You’ll Do
- Provide specialized care for postoperative ICU patients, including post-cabg, valve surgeries, and aortic dissection cases
- Manage patients with PA catheters, balloon pumps, and other invasive devices
- Administer continuous renal replacement therapy and monitor critical parameters
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on complex patient care plans
- Follow hospital protocols to ensure high-quality, safe patient outcomes
- Adapt to emergency situations as part of the unit’s response team
What You Need
- Valid RN license in Louisiana or state where practicing
- ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications required
- ICU experience, particularly in high-acuity settings preferred
- Ability to work night shifts and adapt to unit protocols
- Strong critical thinking and patient management skills
