SICU Registered Nurse – New Orleans, LA | Day 4x12-Hour Shifts

Pay & Benefits

What You’ll Do
- Provide high-caliber ICU nursing care to critically ill patients in a high-acuity environment.
- Float to other ICUs and step-down units as needed, supporting the broader patient care team.
- Administer medications, monitor patient status, and utilize Epic electronic health records.
- Assist with post-op care for CABG, valve replacements, and other cardiac surgeries.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on transplant recoveries for liver, heart, lungs, kidney, and pancreas.
- Support patients with complex needs including PA catheters, balloon pumps, and continuous renal replacement therapy.
What You Need
Required:
- Valid RN license in Louisiana
- ACLS, BLS, NIH certifications
- Epic experience (preferred)
- Experience in ICU or high-acuity units, including transplant and cardiac care
Preferred:
- Experience with PA catheters, balloon pumps, and CCRT
- Strong critical thinking and collaborative skills
