Travel Speech-Language Pathologist - Acute jobs in Bakersfield, CA offer a 13-week contract with 8-hour day shifts and 40 hours per week. You must have ASHA Certification of Clinical Competency, a California speech-language pathology license, and proficiency in videofluoroscopy studies. Recommended qualifications include 1-2 years of acute care experience, though this is flexible if you are skilled in videofluoroscopy and have worked in acute rehab. Your responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in an acute care setting. You will develop individualized therapy plans and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
