What You’ll Do:
- Evaluate patient function through formal and informal testing across skeletal, neurological, respiratory, and cardiovascular systems.
- Develop goal-specific treatment plans based on assessments and patient tolerance, aligning with physician directives.
- Submit and update treatment regimes, coordinating with healthcare providers and documenting all changes.
- Design treatment schedules tailored to patient needs, communicating plans with patients, families, and clinical staff.
- Educate patients and families on pathology, treatment options, prognosis, and intervention rationale.
- Collaborate with the therapy team to ensure high-quality patient care throughout the treatment duration.
- Maintain compliance with all standards and policies governing physical therapy practice.
What You Need:
- Valid Physical Therapist Assistant license in Michigan.
- Minimum of 1-2 years outpatient therapy experience preferred.
- Strong assessment, communication, and patient education skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
