What You’ll Do
- Conduct mental health screenings and assessments through clinical interviews and review of available records
- Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on inmate needs and functioning levels
- Provide mental health counseling, crisis interventions, and supportive activities to inmates
- Document all treatment, evaluations, and interventions accurately in health records while maintaining strict confidentiality
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of psychological counseling techniques and apply appropriate treatment approaches
- Collaborate with a dedicated healthcare team to ensure quality inmate mental health services
- Maintain compliance with facility policies and confidentiality standards
What You Need
- Valid driver’s license and Social Security Card for facility clearance
- Relevant mental health licensure or certification preferred, but not mandatory
- Experience in mental health counseling, assessments, or crisis interventions is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
