What You’ll Do
- Evaluate patients’ functional status through assessments and tests
- Develop individualized treatment plans and update them as needed
- Implement and oversee therapeutic activities based on patient tolerances
- Collaborate with physicians to coordinate care and submit detailed treatment regimes
- Educate patients and families regarding conditions and recovery plans
- Supervise qualified therapy assistants and students within regulatory standards
What You Need
Required
- Valid Michigan Occupational Therapist license or eligibility
- Proven experience in outpatient settings
- Strong assessment and intervention skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred
- Experience working with diverse patient populations
- Ability to adapt treatment plans to individual needs
