What You’ll Do:
- Evaluate patient function through formal and informal assessments of skeletal, neurological, respiratory, and cardiovascular systems
- Develop and implement goal-specific treatment plans in collaboration with physicians
- Educate patients and families on pathology, treatment options, and prognosis
- Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants, Aides, and students
- Recommend and facilitate adaptive/supportive equipment for patients
- Document patient responses, treatment plans, and progress in compliance with policies and regulations
- Promote patient education in home settings and coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams
- Participate in team conferences, community outreach, and program development
What You Need:
- Valid Michigan Physical Therapist license (required)
- Minimum of 1 year of outpatient orthopedic or general physical therapy experience (preferred)
- Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrated professionalism and commitment to patient care
