Requirements:

BLS - Basic Life Support - Within 1 month of hire or transfer
NBCOT - NB Certification in Occ Therapy
OTR - Occupational Therapist
Bachelors Degree
More than 1 year of experience preferred but would be willing for new grad.
Successful completion of MyMichigan Health and affiliate specific orientation. Successful completion of new hire competency.
Interpersonal skills are needed for effective verbal and written communication in the English language to interact with people individually and in a group at all levels.
Ability to work independently, demonstrating problem solving and organizational skills, time management skills and initiative.
Mandatory Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is required and must be completed annually according to the Exposure Control Plan.
Ability to work where employee may be exposed to communicable diseases. Ability to use personal protective equipment correctly.
Ability to perform essential job functions with reasonable accommodation.
Ability to demonstrate and teach selected treatment routines to appropriate professional and non-professional individuals.
AOTA membership preferred.
