$5190 per 24 hours

Schedule
24-Hour In-House Shifts: 7:00 AM–7:00 AM
12-Hour Shifts Also Available
Provider availability must be included with submission

Obstetric Patients
Predominantly High-Risk Pregnancies
Approximately 11–12 Deliveries Per Day
More than 90% of Maternal Placental Program census requires MFM involvement or management
Level II Nursery
OB Coverage Only – No Routine GYN Coverage Currently

Clinical Responsibilities
Provide OB Hospitalist coverage
Manage high-risk obstetric patients
Provide labor and delivery care
Co-manage patients with Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists
Provide coverage for urgent obstetric needs and emergencies
Assist other OB providers with C-sections and obstetrical procedures
Provide coverage for unassigned or undoctored OB patients as needed
Manage ICU deliveries with support from MFM and ICU teams
Collaborate with in-house OB/GYN providers
Work collaboratively with CNMs as part of the clinical workflow

High-Risk Coverage
Must be comfortable managing high-risk pregnancies
MFM available in-house during the day
MFM available on call overnight
24/7 access to Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists
General OB/GYN physicians may be considered if comfortable with high-risk obstetrics
Highest-acuity patients are managed collaboratively with MFM and ICU teams
ECMO-level obstetric cases are rare and primarily managed by MFM and ICU providers

Support
Maternal-Fetal Medicine support available 24/7
Another OB/GYN provider available in-house
ICU support for complex patients
CNM coverage incorporated into workflow
No residents to supervise

Requirements
Board Certified in Obstetrics/Gynecology – Required
BLS – Required
Minnesota License – Highly Preferred
If Minnesota License is not held, IMLC is Required
Trauma Level I or II Experience – Required
High-Risk Obstetrics Experience / Comfort – Required
Clean Credentialing File Highly Preferred for Emergency Temporary Privileges

Standard Credentialing Timeframe: 90–120 Days
Emergency Temporary Privileges May Be Available
Emergency Temps Require a Clean File

Primary focus is high-risk obstetrics
No resident supervision required
