We are seeking a dedicated Family Practice Physician Assistant for an 84-day assignment in California, starting Aug 31, 2026. The schedule involves Monday through Friday shifts from 9 AM to 6 PM. This role focuses on delivering comprehensive primary care to a diverse patient population, managing acute and chronic conditions, and performing routine wellness visits, supported by an efficient clinical team including scribes and intake staff to facilitate a high patient volume.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide care for acute and sick visits, including URI, cough, sore throat, sinusitis, bronchitis, flu/COVID-type symptoms, ear infections, UTIs, rashes, minor musculoskeletal complaints, headaches, and GI complaints.
• Manage chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, asthma/COPD, obesity, and thyroid issues, including medication management.
• Conduct routine primary care services, including physicals, wellness visits, preventive screenings, follow-ups, lab review, prescription refills, and referrals.
• Address same-day and walk-in type complaints effectively within a rural clinic setting.
• Work collaboratively with support staff to manage a patient volume of 40+ per day efficiently.
