• Average Patient Volume: 136 encounters per day
FACILITY INFORMATION
• Hospital Size: 586 beds
• Trauma Level: Level II
• EMR System: Cerner
• Specialty Support: Cardiology, Neurology, Neurosurgery, OB/GYN, and Gastroenterology
• APP Coverage: 9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m.
PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
• IMLC candidates are accepted
• Candidates must have the applicable state medical license, board certification, active DEA for the state of application, and CSR, if required, in hand for presentation
• All candidates will be cross-credentialed at four affiliated emergency facilities in Harlingen, Brownsville, and Weslaco
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• License: Active state medical license or qualification through the IMLC
• Board: Board Certified by ABEM or ABOEM, or Board Eligible with ATLS and PALS
• DEA: Active DEA for the state of application
• CSR: Active CSR if required by the state
• Certifications for Board-Eligible Candidates: ATLS and PALS required
