A healthcare organization in Pennsylvania is seeking a board-certified Interventional Cardiologist for an ongoing locum tenens assignment. The primary need is for three weekends per month of STEMI call coverage, with additional weekday opportunities available for physicians interested in expanded coverage. (Job ID: 51777)

• Duration: Ongoing


• Primary Coverage: Approximately 3 weekends per month


• Weekend Options: Thursday evening-Monday morning or Friday evening-Monday morning


• Call Options: Night call or 24-hour call


• Additional Coverage: 1-2 weekdays per week may be available


• Setting: Hospital-based Interventional Cardiology


• Scope: STEMI coverage, diagnostic cardiac catheterizations, PCI, coronary angiography, TEE, cardioversions, and temporary pacemaker placement


• Weekday Duties: May include scheduled cath lab cases, inpatient/outpatient coverage, non-invasive reads, and cath lab coverage


• Support: APP and onsite cardiology/intensivist support


• EMR: Cerner

Requirements

• Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology


• MD or DO


• Minimum 1 year of experience


• Pennsylvania license or willingness to obtain


• IMLC accepted


• ACLS and BLS


• DEA


• Ability to meet a 30-minute STEMI response time
