What You’ll Do
- Provide direct patient care on a Med Surg/Telemetry unit, including adaptive acuity care
- Manage insulin, emolol, and sodium drips, providing PCU care when needed
- Monitor patient vitals, administer medications, and assist with procedures
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records
- Respond swiftly to patient needs and acute changes in condition
- Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards
What You Need
Required:
- Valid RN license in Vermont
- Experience with drip administration (insulin, sodium, emolol)
- Ability to work charge nurse responsibilities when needed
- Strong clinical skills in Med Surg/Telemetry
Preferred:
- Experience in adaptive acuity or PCU units
- Knowledge of non-negotiable charge nurse duties
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts
