What You’ll Do:
- Provide high-acuity ICU nursing care for post-op CABG, valve replacements, aortic dissection, and transplant patients
- Monitor and manage patients on PA catheters, balloon pumps, and RRT
- Float to other ICU and Step-Down units as needed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Respond swiftly to patient needs in a fast-paced environment
- Follow all safety, health, and institutional protocols
What You Need:
Required:
- Valid RN license in Louisiana or willing to obtain
- ACLS, BLS, NIH certifications
- ICU experience, preferably in CVICU, SICU, or transplant recovery
- Experience with PA catheters, balloon pumps, and RRT
Preferred:
- Epic EHR system experience
- Additional experience in high-acuity or surgical ICU settings
