Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) jobs in Fort Walton Beach, FL offer a 13-week contract with 8-hour day shifts in a skilled nursing facility. In this role, you will assess patients’ physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement therapeutic activities to help patients improve daily living skills. You will educate patients and families on coping strategies and assistive devices, monitor progress, and adjust treatments as needed. Collaboration with other healthcare professionals ensures continuity of care, and you will maintain accurate patient records.
Required qualifications include completion of an accredited Occupational Therapy program and a current Florida OT license. Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation settings is recommended.
