A thriving regional birthing center just southwest of Hartford, Connecticut is seeking a full-time, BC/BE OB/GYN to join its established practice. This is an excellent opportunity to provide comprehensive women’s health care in a collaborative, academic environment with access to advanced obstetric and surgical resources.

Position Highlights:

• Full-time, daytime position


• Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. outpatient schedule


• Busy regional birthing center with ~1,600 births annually


• Level IIIa NICU and 24-hour anesthesia coverage


• Regional referral center for high-risk OB


• Level II ultrasound and robust Maternal-Fetal Medicine services


• Robotic OR and opportunities for OR and Labor & Delivery coverage


• Mix of outpatient clinical sessions and flex time supporting clinic, OR and L&D


• Teaching opportunities with ~40 UConn residents rotating throughout the year


• Academic appointment at the University of Connecticut


• No routine weekends, holidays or call requirements; weekend coverage may occur as permitted by patient needs and call rotations
