We are seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for a long-term locum tenens Neurosurgery opportunity in Virginia. This assignment offers a predictable weekday schedule with no call responsibilities and the opportunity to work alongside an established neurosurgery team.

Opportunity Highlights

• Long-term assignment beginning mid-December 2026
• Coverage expected through at least April 2027
• Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM schedule
• No nights, weekends, or call
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• Inpatient hospital-based practice
• EPIC EMR

Responsibilities

• Post-operative and post-procedural patient management
• Daily patient rounding
• Patient and family education
• Care coordination and collaboration with neurosurgery providers
• Inpatient neurosurgical care support

Qualifications

• Board Certified PA or NP
• Active Virginia License (required)
• Active ACLS Certification
• Active BLS Certification
• Active DEA
• Clean professional background and licensing history

Additional Details

• Travel and lodging assistance available
• Temporary privileges available
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 120 days
