What You’ll Do
- Provide specialized nursing care for patients undergoing complex cardiovascular procedures in the Cath Lab.
- Float routinely between Willis Knighton Pierremont and Willis Knighton Bossier and serve as backup for WKMC North.
- Assist with a variety of procedures including coronary angiography, TAVR, MitraClip, and structural heart interventions.
- Scrub, monitor, and circulate for cardiac and peripheral vascular interventions.
- Administer vasoactive drugs, sedation, and perform critical patient assessments.
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team and support education during orientation.
- Utilize EMR (Meditech Expanse) and operate advanced imaging and monitoring systems.
What You Need
- Required:
- Active RN license with BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
- Minimum of 3 years RN experience, including 1.5+ years in Cath Lab within the last year
- Ability to scrub, monitor, and circulate in complex interventional cases
- Valid driver's license (to float between facilities)
- Preferred:
- Experience with Merge hemodynamic systems, RCIS certification, and advanced vascular procedures
- Skilled in sterile technique and critical care assessments
- Knowledge of equipment such as Impella, IABP, Laser atherectomy, and Puncture closure devices
