Description
We are seeking a locum tenens Psychiatrist for an ongoing inpatient coverage need in North Dakota. This opportunity offers a consistent 7 days on/7 days off schedule with an ASAP start.
Clinical Responsibilities
- 7 days on/7days off, 7:00 AM-7:00 PM
- 24-bed inpatient psychiatric unit
- Adult general psychiatry and a 6-bed adolescent unit
- ER psychiatry evaluations
- General hospital consultations
- Telemedicine may be utilized for general hospital consultations
- Inpatient unit is located directly adjacent to the general hospital
- Collaborate with another psychiatrist on a 7-on/7-off rotation, typically changing over on Thursdays
- EMR: Epic
Requirements
- Board certification preferred/required
- Strong inpatient psychiatry experience
- Must be comfortable treating both adult and adolescent patients
- Must be willing to provide ER and general hospital consultation coverage
- Must be available for the full 7-day rotation and orientation requirements
