Fellowship-Trained Breast Radiologist

About the Opportunity

Advance breast healthcare with CHRISTUS Health, a leading provider of comprehensive, faith-based medical services. We are seeking a fellowship-trained Breast Radiologist to join our dynamic, collaborative team in Shreveport, Louisiana.

In this role, you will utilize state-of-the-art imaging technology to deliver precise, patient-centered care. You will work closely with a dedicated multidisciplinary team to impact patient outcomes directly.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret modalities: Read screening and diagnostic mammograms (2D and 3D/tomosynthesis).
• Analyze imaging: Evaluate breast ultrasound and breast MRI scans.
• Perform procedures: Conduct image-guided biopsies (stereotactic, ultrasound, and MRI-guided) and localizations.
• Collaborate multidisciplinary: Participate regularly in breast tumor boards with surgeons and oncologists.
• Drive quality: Contribute directly to clinical quality improvement and optional teaching initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Hold an M.D. or D.O. degree.
• Training: Complete an accredited breast imaging fellowship.
• Certification: Board-certified or board-eligible in Diagnostic Radiology.
• Licensure: Eligible for an unrestricted Louisiana medical license.
• Skills: Strong communication skills with a focus on empathetic, patient-centered care.
