Pay & Benefits:
- Hourly Pay Rate: $52.26
- Pay Package: Discussed upon application

What You’ll Do:
- Provide expert nursing care to patients in the Stepdown and Medical-Surgical units
- Manage patients with conditions such as CVA/TIA, post-surgical cases, AFIB/RVR, DKA, COPD, and more
- Monitor patients using cardiac telemetry and ensure accurate documentation
- Administer titratable medications including medications like Cardene, Cardizem, Insulin, Heparin (manager approval required)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including RT, OT, PT, and hospitalists
- Support patient safety through charting, assessments, and timely responses
- Adhere to hospital protocols, policies, and safety guidelines
What You Need:
- Valid RN license in the state of LA
- Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, NIH certifications
- Ability to pass an EKG competency exam
- Skills in telemetry, IV therapy, chest tube management, and trach care (preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
