What You’ll Do
- Provide expert nursing care to emergency room patients in a fast-paced environment
- Assess patient conditions and execute appropriate interventions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient outcomes
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently using electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, procedures, and discharge instructions
- Follow all safety protocols and adhere to healthcare standards
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment
What You Need
- Required:
- Current RN license in Louisiana
- BLS, CPI, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of ER or related clinical experience
- Proficiency in using healthcare software and electronic records
- Effective communication and organizational skills
- Preferred:
- Certifications in clinical specialty areas
- Additional certifications or training in emergency care
