What You’ll Do
- Provide inpatient gastroenterology care at a Level 1 Trauma Center
- Perform procedures including endoscopy, ERCP, and EUS
- Evaluate and manage GI-related problems and gastrointestinal bleeding
- Participate in on-call coverage, including response to emergent cases
- Collaborate with hospital staff on patient diagnosis and treatment plans
- Document patient care accurately in EPIC EMR
- Support hospital efforts to ensure continuous patient coverage
What You Need
- Colorado medical license or active Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC)
- At least 2 years of GI clinical experience, including ERCP & EUS procedures
- Proficiency in EPIC EMR (experience preferred)
- Ability to work 7-day shifts, with flexibility for ongoing coverage
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Level 1 Trauma settings
- Pediatric trauma experience (patients 15+, and up to 50 kg)
- Experience with inpatient consult services in GI
