What You’ll Do
- Assist in cardiothoracic surgery cases, including vein harvesting and OR first assist duties
- Cover night call, including emergent cases and phone consultations
- Support patient care during complex cardio procedures
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure smooth operations
- Follow hospital protocols and maintain high standards of care
- Document procedures within EPIC EMR system
- Participate in coverage for scheduled shifts and call duties as assigned
What You Need
Required:
- Nebraska medical license
- Proven experience in cardiothoracic surgery assisting (vein harvesting, OR support)
- Ability to work night call shifts
- Competency with EPIC EMR
Preferred:
- Prior locum or hospital-based experience in cardiothoracic surgery
