What You’ll Do
- Conduct post-procedural daily patient care and assessments
- Collaborate with neurosurgery team on patient treatment plans
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families about care and procedures
- Document patient interactions accurately in EPIC system
- Support inpatient hospital services, managing adult and geriatric patient populations
- Participate in hospital team meetings and quality initiatives
- Assist in ensuring seamless patient care transitions and safety
What You Need
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Virginia or ability to obtain one
- Prior experience in neurosurgery, surgery, or inpatient hospital care
- Strong communication and patient advocacy skills
- Ability to work independently within a team environment
- Proficiency with EPIC or similar EHR systems
