• Assignment Range: Fall through Winter 2026


• Setting: Hospital-based Neonatology


• Patient Population: Neonates


• Multiple shifts available throughout the assignment


• Approximately 90-day credentialing timeframe


• Opportunity to provide advanced neonatal and critical care services

Requirements

• Board-Certified Physician


• Active Massachusetts medical license


• PALS certification


• Neonatology experience


• Strong neonatal stabilization and resuscitation skills

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide neonatal stabilization and resuscitation


• Manage invasive and non-invasive ventilation


• Perform neonatal intubations and advanced airway management


• Place central, arterial, UVC, and UAC lines


• Perform lumbar punctures and other diagnostic or therapeutic procedures


• Manage chest tubes and needle decompression when clinically indicated


• Perform exchange transfusions


• Interpret diagnostic imaging and EKGs as appropriate


• Participate in deliveries, including high-risk C-sections, as needed


• Provide additional neonatal procedures within scope and privileges

Preferred Experience

• Level II and Level III NICU care


• BiPAP, CPAP, and nitric oxide management


• ECMO


• Conscious and deep sedation


• Chest tube placement


• Paracentesis and thoracentesis


• Hemodialysis catheter placement


• Circumcisions and minor procedures
