Obstetrics Hospitalist Physician
Location: Denver, Colorado
Setting: Inpatient hospital
Start: Mid October (estimated)
Duration: Approximately 3 to 4 months, with potential to extend
Schedule: Weeknight and weekend coverage with occasional inpatient day shifts
Shift details:
Nights: 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Weekends may include 24 hour shifts (7:00 AM to 7:00 AM) and day or night blocks as needed
Position Overview
Provide high acuity OB hospitalist coverage including deliveries and OB emergency department triage.
Manage emergent gynecology procedures as needed.
Collaborate with residents and the multidisciplinary team.
Document care in the electronic medical record.
Required Qualifications
Board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Active Colorado license or qualification eligible for Colorado licensing.
BLS, ACLS, NRP, and fetal monitoring certification.
Comfortable working in a high acuity inpatient environment.
Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify.
